Safety. The original is always preserved; versions are immutable; undo moves a pointer (non-destructive); write actions require a confirmation; every selection is bound to its source.
Data and storage. The stateless primitives retain nothing. The optional durable workspaces (the ws_* tools) persist documents, immutable versions, annotations, recorded actions and an audit log in a private object store, accessed by an unguessable workspace_id that acts as a bearer secret — treat it like a password and do not store sensitive data. Image Object Storage and OCR are planned.
